Stage 5, Falco Sponsored Team Jilun still in overall lead on Team Classification
November 27, 2013 – Xinyu, Jiangxi Province – Stage 5 of the Tour of Poyanghu Lake took place in chilly rain and biting wind, which combined with slippery roads made the stage extra difficult. The Peter Sagan of Team Jilun, i.e., French rider Simon Buttner, who can ride BMX type stunts, as well as riding really fast, was able to maintain 2nd place on the GC and cut the gap from race leader to only 3 seconds, especially on a pan flat stage like today. In the mean time, Team Jilun maintains overall lead on the Team Classification. Tomorrow will see a relatively hilly stage which suits Simon, and we may see him take the race lead overall.
Jilun’s Simon Buttner getting a podium for Stage 2 of the Tour of Poyanghu, securing a 2nd place overallon the GC. In really bad weather.
Can’t believe we didn’t have a FB page until now… but here we are, a team of professional cyclists from Australia, France and China…. Here is a glimpse of our current Tour of Poyanghu Lake…
